There are numerous ways to get involved at UNLV. Many employees serve on committees and volunteer on campus and in the community. Throughout the year, enjoy cultural events, including lectures, concerts, plays, art exhibits, and sporting events.

Campus Governance

Activities
At UNLV, there are numerous activities that bring our entire campus community together. Throughout the year, employees participate in various academic events, including commencement and the academic faculty convocation. Employees also enjoy cultural events on campus such as the annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebration, the Charles Vanda Master Series, and the Barrick Lecture Series, which has featured renowned speakers such as Bob Dole and Walter Cronkite.

Additionally, you can show your Rebel pride during homecoming week or compete in the UNLV corporate challenge games. There are also numerous employee recognition events, including the annual faculty and staff holiday party and the president's classified employee of the year ceremony.
